A Phelps man was charged by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following a domestic incident, which occurred during the late-evening hours of Tuesday. Deputies say around 10:50 pm on Tuesday, they responded to 1310 State Route 96, in the Town of Phelps for the report of a domestic incident. When they arrived, they found that Patrick D. Middlebrook, 24, of Phelps had damaged a door window by punching it. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree. As of Wednesday morning, Middlebrook was awaiting arraignment at the Ontario County Jail.
